Brilliant location very close to the bay and the center of town. Nice members of the staff provide 5-star service at 3-star prices. - Amazing building with spacious and elegant rooms featuring balconies.

The views of the bay of Sorrento and Vesuvius from the balcony where we ate breakfast and dinner were magnificent, the restaurant food was excellent and the service friendly and efficient. The free shuttle bus was very useful.

Every time we visit Sorrento, we choose to stay at this hotel. the staff is knowledgeable, responsible, and offers top-notch service at affordable prices. - the hotel's location is superb, just a short walk to the center and key attractions like the Bay of Naples, Sorrento, Naples, Capri. - the rooms are airy, reasonably sized, and offer magnificent views.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Il Nido Sorrento. We needed a quadruple room and got 2 adjoining rooms which worked out very well for us and our 2 small children. The breakfast is very nice and the views are incredible. We also had dinner 2x there and enjoyed good food and a very relaxing evening. This place is a great value and if you are looking for a nice spot between Sorrento and the "true" Amalfi coast, I'd highly recommend this. If you want to be right in Sorrento, than this is not the place, but we were happy to not be right in town and enjoyed the quiet atomosphere.

Il Nido Sorrento had one of the best services for a great deal. The room and bathroom was clean and we had an amazing view of the sea from our balcony. I went with a group of friends and we stayed in a quadrouple room and the beds were so comfy. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Its not in the heart of Sorrento, but up the hill (about a 20 minute ride), but the hotel provides free shuttle service to and from the hotel to the city every hour. Also, the hotel front desk provided us great information about things to do, places to go see, their rates, times, and transportation to and from there. I would highly suggest this hotel.

The only thing I didn't like was the drive to and from the hotel from the city of Sorrento. Although it was scenic, the road was very twisty and the shuttle driver drove pretty fast, so I would get a little nauseous afterwards. Other than that, the hotel was perfect.

Price was better than many other hotels in Sorrento, mainly because of the location though. Breakfast and restaurant were very good. Also good views over Sorrento.

Location was the biggest problem. There was a shuttle bus service which was handy, although on 1 occasion the bus was not where it should have been and we had to take a taxi (which the hotel partially refunded following our complaint to be fair).

The views were fantastic. To wake up every morning to the views from way atop the mountains and seeing the sea was spectacular. The food at the resturant was also excellent. It was nice to have a breakfast buffet. The extras received at dinner were also very nice and unexpected...complimentary champagne and bruschetta. Very nice.

The bed was very hard. That's it. Everything else was absolutely great.

The rooms were elegant with sea views and an incredible view. the beautiful balcony was a nice touch. the breakfast was exceptionally good and lovely. the daily selection of breads, cereals, cakes, fruits, and eggs was delicious.

Execellent value hotel in Sorrento. Located a distance from center of town but the hotel provides a free shuttle bus to the center on a regular basis until late into the evening. Free parking and a good continental breakfast included. Rooms are not fancy but large and functional with great views.
